Freelance Composer

Based in the Pacific Northwest, Amy has connected and collaborated with creative folks around the world for the last 12 years. Exile Content, Duct Tape Then Beer and Eddie Bauer are some of the awesome creatives the she has worked with recently. She has also written music for inspiring content supporting brands like Patagonia, Cannondale, Insight Timer, Kokatat, Industry Nine, Outdoor Research, REI, The North Face, Subaru, Arcteryx, Nat Geo, Red Bull Media House and Google.

Music Teacher

Amy teaches private music lessons online to students of all ages and experience from the convenience of their own home, wherever that may be.

She teaches guitar, piano and ukulele where students learn all the fundamentals of their instrument and the larger picture of music in general by tapping into what inspires them. Amy helps them to set individual goals that could include learning favorite songs, reading music, learning how notes are organized into scales and keys and how to analyze what they are playing or how to write their own music.

Amy has over 20 years of teaching experience ranging from private music lessons, group instrument and music technology lessons, writing curriculum for the MoPop (formerly EMP) education department in Seattle where she taught curriculum connections to classroom field trips visiting the museum (The Science of Sound, Songwriting), which backed up their grade’s curriculum objectives, as well as summer camps (Guitar 101, Beat Making with Reason).
